Katie Halter, MSc, PA-C, CAQ-Psych, is a physician associate in Grand Rapids, MI. She studied biology at the University of Toledo before going on to earn a Master of Science in Immunology and Immunogenetics from the University of Manchester and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. Katie has been practicing as a PA in psychiatry since 2017 and played a pivotal role in launching the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the University of Michigan Health West in 2021. She is passionate about improving healthcare through education and enjoys precepting students as well as empowering her patients to actively participate in their own care.
